On June 11th , Professor Cai Jingmin, Chair of HFU Council, and Professor Wang Qidong, HFU President meet a Korean delegation, led by Mr. Park Ju-Moon, President of the College of Urban Sciences (Incheon National University), Professor Kim Chan-Kyung of the Department of Chemistry (Inha University), and Dr. Lee Kyung-Ho of Sudokwon Landfill Site Management Corp.
The two parties hold a meeting on the joint cultivation of postgraduates and the research of environmental protection after exchanging their greetings and brief introductions to their universities respectively. Chair Cai states that environmental protection is always a key for the Environmental Engineering (a featured program of HFU) majors to carry out their research on. President Wang Qidong points out that with the schooling conception of applied talents cultivation, HFU hopes to extend and deepen its cooperation and exchanges with Korean universities in postgraduate education. After making a detailed introduction to the achievements of Incheon National University in international exchanges, President Park Ju-Moon expresses his expectations on the prospect of cooperation with HFU.
With nearly 2000students engaged in the overseas study in South Korea, HFU excels in terms of the cooperation with it, and will further its collaboration of a recognized enrollment of postgraduates at both sides. HFU students studying at Incheon National Universityand the Korean counterparts at HFU will be conferred with the master degrees of both universities.
