On February 1, HFU and Osnabruck University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Osnabriick) sign online an agreement of a joint training program for Economic and Management talents. Attendees from both parties include HFU’s President Wu Chunmei and Vice President Chen Xiu, President Andreas Bertram and Vice-President Andrea Braun von Reinersdorff from Osnabruck University of Applied Sciences. Under the current situation of epidemic prevention and control, this is the first intercollegiate cooperation program signed online by HFU.
At the ceremony, President Wu Chunmei extends her congratulations on the agreement and introduces the background of the joint training program between the two universities. The basis of the joint construction of Logistics Management Specialty bears fruit of the present agreement, which will include all the 12 economics and management specialties, and recruit German students to study at HFU.
President Andreas Bertram expresses his gratitude to all those for their contribution to the agreement, especially President Wu Chunmei, for her support. He speaks highly of the agreement as a model of deepening cooperation between the two sides and looks forward to visiting HFU after the epidemic to further it.
Since 1985, according to the cooperation agreement signed by Anhui Provincial Government and the Government of Lower Saxony (Germany), Osnabruck University of Applied Sciences has provided consistent support to the construction of specialties of economics and management in Hefei University. The 35-year cooperation helps lead to the foundation of the School of Economics and Management in HFU, which at present has 4 departments and 12 undergraduate specialties with more than 3000 students on campus.
