On June 28th, the China Engineering Education Accreditation Association announced that HFU’s two programs of Software Engineering, and Mechanical Design Manufacturing and Automationpassed professional accreditation.
The two programs underwent online evaluations by experts in April and November of 2022 respectively. Comprehensively examining the two programs of their work reports, professional laboratories, electronic teaching materials and management documents, as well as interviewing undergraduate students, graduates, employers, management personnel, and professional teachers, the experts provided objective and pertinent evaluation and formed scientific and systematic feedback.
So far, HFU has witnessed four programs attain the professional accreditation, namely, Chemical Engineering and Technology, Automation, Software Engineering, and Mechanical Design Manufacturing and Automation. Moreover, two programs—Primary Education (Teacher Education), and Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (Teacher Education) — have passed the Normal Professional Accreditation of Ordinary Colleges and Universities.
Adhering to the “student-centered, output-oriented, continuous-improvement” concept, HFU will continuously promote the full implementation of professional accreditation, strengthen programs construction and education and teaching reform, so as to promote the professional cultivation quality to a new level.
