On February 26, 20 students from Osnabruck University of Applied Sciences came to attend a week-long “2024 Spring Camp” at HFU, which was one of the series of activities for the 40th anniversary of friendship between Anhui Province and Lower Saxony, Germany.
HFU attached great importance to this Spring Camp, and carefully arranged sightseeing, visiting middle schools and Volkswagen Group, as well as scene experience courses on Chinese language, calligraphy, tea art, martial arts, and traditional Chinese medicine. These activities helped the German students learn about Chinese traditional culture and know better the vitality of China's economic and social development.
HFU President Wu Chunmei presented certificates of completion to all the students, encouraged them to continue to learn Chinese language and culture, and welcomed them to study at Hefei University.
These 20 students selected by Osnabruck University of Applied Sciences are from 15 programs including Industrial Design, Computer Science, and Mechanical Engineering. The Spring Camp at HFU will earn them 5 credits as an overseas course.
Since HFU and Osnabruck University of Applied Sciences became sister universities in 1985, they have carried out friendly cooperation for nearly 40 years, building an exchange platform for students in both universities.
