Yang Changli and Yang Qianwen, two German majors(Grade 2015) in the Department of Foreign Languages of HU, gain German Academic Exchange Center scholarship(DAAD) and will study in Germany since the summer of 2018.
This is the first time that German majors have got a DAAD scholarship, which is designed for those to be engaged in the teaching of German.Yang Changli and Yang Qianwen took the German Language Proficiency Test at Nanjing University in November, 2017 and achieved much better than expected. What’s more,Yang Changli participated in the National Multilingual Interpretation Contest and won the Excellence Award in the same year. They have set a good example for their counterparts in the Department of Foreign Languages.
It has been reported that German majors of Grade 2015 have done a good performance in the National German Exam (Level 4), among whom 7 students have got “Excellent”, accounting for 21%.
